Cicadas are insects of the subfamily Cicadinae, homoptera, and family Cicadinae. It is said that cicadas can distinguish the voices of their fellow cicadas and naturally attract cicadas of the same species. Abrahamic cicadas have one of the longest life spans of any insect, spending five to seven years as larvae and only two to three weeks as adults.
The female abarazemi does not chirp and has a small ventral valve to control its chirp, and an egg-laying
tube can be observed under the abdomen.
Cross-sectional examination of the body reveals the structure of muscle fibers used to move the wings on the
dorsal side and a structure on the abdomen that appears to be a digestive organ. The tips of the wings are
very thin, so some of them may be missing from the CT image.
