It is a member of the gopher tortoise family and is found in the bamboo forests of northern Thailand and Myanmar. Also known as Burmese Gohon Hornbill, it is characterized by its warped horns and horns that look like rabbit ears.

This specimen was CT scanned at the request of Bandai Co. This 3D data is used in the new “Burmanix” of the capsule toy series “The Big Book of Ikimono”.

t has one horn on its head and four on its thorax, and like other beetles, it is nearly hollow in structure with a good balance between lightness and strength. Another characteristic of this beetle, other than its horns, is its long, slender legs. It is thought that this change was made to make it easier for the beetle to cling to bamboo shoots because its staple food is the sap of bamboo shoots.
